buckets ice cream
We are very proud of this little nitrogen ice cream shop and the ladies that dreamt it up! As the adage goes "less is more" and this project is no exception. There are three main design considerations. We wanted the threatre of making nitrogen ice cream to be front and centre, both in the shop and from the long sidewalk just outside for those who are curious.
The long dowel clad counter has two roles. It is functional, as people queue up for their ice cream and it's meant to be warm on the eyes and to the touch. This creates a contrast with the nitrogen stations along the countertop that create an ice cold fog that flows over the counter.
Last, but not least, fun with the colours and stool heights. For the children, these little fixtures can be seats, tables or whatever they dream they should be.
